Each gram of product contains Flubendazole 100 mg.
Pigs and poultry
It is recommended for dehelmintisation of pigs and poultry in case of infestations with pulmonary and gastrointestinal parasites and nematodes.
Pigs - Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum dentatum, Trichuris suis, Strongyloides ransomi, Metastrongylus apri.
Poultry - Syngamus trachea, Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarium, Capillaria spp., Trichostrongylus tenuis, Railletina spp. Flubendazole is an antihelmintic from the group of benzimidazoles with vermicidal, larvicidal and ovicidal effect in gastrointestinal and lung infections caused by nematodes and cestodes. The bioavailability of the substance and its antiparasitic effect depend less on the maximum concentration of the active substance at gastrointestinal and plasma levels, but more on the duration of contact between the substance and the parasite. Flubendazole acts by inhibiting cell uptake processes from the microtubules of intestinal cells to nematodes or skin cells to cestodes. The primary action consists in inhibiting the microtubule polymerization by β-tubulin binding, a process that prevents the uptake of glucose by the parasites.
Do not administer in animals with intolerance to flubendazole.
If signs of adverse reactions or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet are noted, please inform your vet.
The treatment consists of oral administration of Flubendazol 10%, individually or in mass (by incorporation in fodder), for 5-7 consecutive days at different doses, depending on species, age, body weight, physiological status and state of health.
Pigs - Administer a dose of 5 mg a.s./kg bw/day, respectively 50 mg Flubendazole 10%/kg bw/day for 5 days.
Chickens - Administer a dose of 30 mg a.s./kg of fodder/day, respectively 300 g of Flubendazol 10% premix/tonne of fodder, for 7 days. In the case of infestations with Railletina spp, administer a dose of 60 mg a.s./kg of fodder, i.e., 600 g of Flubendazol 10% premix/tonne of fodder, for 7 days.
For mass treatment, through fodder, we recommend the correct calculation of the total live weight and the amount of product to be administered, as well as the preparation of premixes, for proper homogenisation.
