PENICILIN 30 is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by penicillin-susceptible microorganisms including wildfire, omphalitis and arthritis, respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia and atrophic rhinitis, listeriosis, septicaemia, meningitis, dermatitis, genitourinary tract infections and secondary infection control of primary viral diseases.
PENICILIN 30 should not be used in animals hypersensitive to procaine or penicillin. Penicillin shall not be used in small herbivores (rabbits, Guinea pigs, etc.).
Sensitive animals may experience allergic reactions such as: hives, erythema, exanthema, or anaphylactic shock.
If signs of adverse reactions or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet are noted, please inform your vet.
Cattle - The product is administered intramuscularly, as follows:
Cattle, horses - 1 mL/10-20 kg body weight, for 3-5 days.
Pigs, dogs and cats - 1 mL/5 kg body weight, for 3-5 days.
To ensure proper dosing and to avoid underdosing, animal body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
Cattle (meat and offal) 7 days

Pigs (meat and offal) 7 days
Cattle (milk) 3 days
Horses - Do not use milk for human consumption.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate Store in the original package. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the label. Shelf-life after first opening the original packaging: 28 days.

The use of the product should be based on the results of susceptibility testing of isolated bacteria from animals.
If this is not possible, therapy should be based locally on epidemiological information on the target bacteria’s susceptibility.
Using the product in violation of the instructions provided in the SmPC may increase the prevalence of resistant bacteria and may decrease treatment effectiveness due to their cross-resistance potential.
Those with known hypersensitivity to the active substance should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product.
In case of ingestion or accidental skin contact, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label of the product.
The person handling the veterinary medicinal product must wear protective equipment.
Administration of the product to pregnant sows can cause abortion. Laboratory studies have not caused teratogenic or foetotoxic effects.
Procaine benzylpenicillin has bactericidal properties and shall not be combined with bacteriostatic antibiotics.
In the absence of compatibility studies, this veterinary medicinal product shall not be mixed with other veterinary medicinal products.
Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste materials derived from such products should be disposed of in accordance with national requirements.
